Watercolor Popsicles!

Let’s draw a cute POPSICLE! I used watercolor wash to create this cutie. I really love how the colors mix and run on wet paper and “do their own thing”. 🙂 No two popsicles come out the same!

And here is another version to welcome the sunshine and warm weather. I had so much fun doing the lettering and the cute doodles!

This week’s drawing prompt is BEVERAGE. I couldn’t decide between tea and coffee, haha. So I went with my daughter’s favorite beverage – strawberry milk. You can’t go wrong with pink and Japanese kawaii aesthetic!!! 😀

Let’s draw a kawaii mushroom for this week. Did you know that the largest living organism on our planet is a mushroom?!! It’s in Oregon, USA and it coves almost 4 square miles. Amazing!

Cute and Easy Butterfly Drawing

The prompt for this week is BUTTERFLY.

We are heading into Spring in the northern hemisphere (although I am in Australia and it’s Autumn!). But I lived in the Unite States for many years, so I can totally tune into the feeling of spring.

Here is my cute butterfly drawing with green overtones. I wanted to use an unconventional color for this cutie to challenge myself and bring spring freshness to the drawing. Oh, and did I mention that “sage green” is the hottest color trend right now? 😉
