Many artists say “I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember”… but that’s not my story. I didn’t show any special drawing talent as a child. I went to a regular school, followed by a regular corporate job at Accenture 😅
This whole time I felt that I wanted more from life. I wanted to CREATE. Eventually, the pain of not following this calling became bigger than the fear of failing at it.
At the age of 29, I quit my corporate job and enrolled in Julian Ashton Art School full time. And never looked back.
This led me to become the kawaii artist I am today. I got to paint at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and my art was published by Quarto!
I figured out how to turn my passion into a profession 😀
